What’s happening in the Australia program (Roundup)
Last month, those who wished to study in the overseas joined the Australian English program.
This is a picture of their first day. Everyone has a very happy smile.
After that, they stayed on a farm for three days. Then at St. Monica,we were warmly welcomed by two Japanese teachers,Jasmine and Megan, and will stay with a host family from today.
This is Green island in Cairns.
We went on a green island excursion and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Everyone was very energetic and getting along more and more.
The host families got together and had a good-bye party.
We had a good time playing the game, musical chairs. Then our students performed the dance and song “Tommorrow” from the American musical Annie.
The students were in tears as they concluded with a speech of thanks to the school students, and at the end, a surprise present was given to each student from St. Monica. Without the warm friendship and understanding from the host families, Japanese teachers and St. Monica teachers, we would not have been able to have the amazing experience. I would also like to express my deep gratitude to the Japanese families who watched over us, and the school staff who helped us, and will return home soon. Thank you very much to everyone who made this possible.
