【iGlobal】The entrance ceremony was held.
On Saturday, December 19, the 2nd year of Reiwa entrance ceremony was held at Yokohama Eiri Girls’ High School. There was a limit on the number of students, but parents were also available to visit the school.
In view of the situation of the new coronavirus infection, the entrance ceremony has been postponed since April, but it was possible to hold it after taking measures to prevent the spread of infection, such as wearing a mask, thoroughly disinfecting hands, securing the distance between seats, shortening the ceremony time, and adjusting the ventilation in the environment.
Also, when the school song played, we listened to the school song instead of singing it, but we sang it together in our hearts. The new students’ “Words of Oath” was performed by a representative of the students from the iGlobal Division. It was different experience than the entrance ceremony that is held every year, because students already knew their classmates and teachers. Because of this, we were able to have an entrance ceremony in a homey atmosphere.
